Little Champions 2 Near Coconut Creek (Ages 8–9)

Coconut Creek children in the eight-to-nine age range enter Little Champions 2 with a broader vocabulary of positions and techniques than younger siblings. Classes cover guard passing, takedowns, submissions, and defensive frameworks in more technical detail than the younger program. Students drill with partners of similar size and ability — the school's enrollment depth in this age group means that appropriate pairings are almost always available. Lyons Creek Middle School students who trained through Little Champions have credited BJJ with improving their ability to manage the social pressure of middle school transitions, citing the mat environment as one of the few places where effort is more important than status.
